When Emma joined the ambulance service over 20 years ago, she was crewed with me for guidance and mentoring. It was a fantastic time, we got on so well and were constantly laughing and getting into mischief. We shared the details of our lives and became firm friends. 
We travelled to Hong Kong on holiday, Emma’s family farmhouse, Dublin for a hen weekend, and countless nights and meals out. Emma kindly travelled to France and took the photos on my wedding day!

She became truly happy and herself when she met B, which filled my heart with joy!

I will miss her for the rest of my life.
